Most billing software is made for accountants. Shopkeepers told us the same things again and again: it is too complicated, it doesn't speak Hindi, it needs a computer, and it costs too much for a small shop.
So we started from the counter, not the office. A bill should take seconds. Udhar should remind itself. Stock should count itself. And your CA should get everything in one download at the end of the quarter.
We work closely with the shops using Bahi and keep improving it from what they tell us — many of the features you see came straight from a shopkeeper's request.
